JFK: Prophetic Vision, Censorship, and Change

2 years before his assassination, John F. Kennedy said:

“We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in ensuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.”

I had a dream in March where I was at a basketball game and the team I was watching was not very good. I remember seeing there were “missing pieces”, specifically at the center position. At halftime I went into the locker room before eventually going into a hallway area where people, including my wife, were worshiping God through singing. I enjoyed this space for a bit before going to the concession stand where I received change back, which surprisingly included a Kennedy half dollar. I went over to a nearby garbage and a quarter fell into it. I was going to leave it thinking, “it’s just a quarter”, but then another quarter fell in. As I went to retrieve them I noticed the Kennedy half dollar had the top part of the coin ripped off. I had been looking at the back of the coin where an eagle is pictured. My wife came over to see what I was doing and I told her I was trying to get the 2 quarters from the trash.

The Kennedy half dollar having the top of the coin ripped off would be where the top of JFK’s head would be removed on the front. On the back, the “States Of” wording would be removed from the phrase “United States of America” leaving only the words “United America.” 2 quarters of a game had been played where there were missing centerpieces. Adjustments and change are in order for the 50 states.

We are at halftime within an appointed time for America to make the necessary adjustments. Much of the first half has been the filling of our nation's heads with trash and propaganda. I’m sure we often wonder if something is missing from people’s minds. The 50 states are represented in the 2 quarters and the 50 cent piece missing the part of the head reveals the assassination attempts of propaganda on our minds and bodies. There is invisible war and certain powers do not want Truth to be seen.

Yet, there is a greater reality to be seen.

A “United America” will come from beyond the mental states people have been indoctrinated by through propaganda and censorship. It will come from understanding the powers behind the masks that seek to silence truth, while they seek to replace it with an assurance the lies are real, and must be believed. It will come from knowing why people are trying to assassinate those who are bringing down corrupt systems in order to raise people up again. It will come from real change beyond the trash of lies, even if they try to remove literal “heads”, like JFK, that were trying to tell us the Truth all along.

Ultimately, it will come from prophetic vision, which is all the ways God speaks to us through dreams, visions, and, more.

My dream is about the “change” we must make as a nation and we cannot “cut corners” if we are going to get to the bottom of a reality. At the bottom, you look up to see the powers that are towering over you with their false information and sweet sounding promises said with nice, joyous, and professional tones. Yet at the bottom of the trash can, your hand can arise to pick up the coins as we see the eagle still standing to arise out of this garbage to bring others to a higher vision. This is God’s dream for America. In order to rise up, we must come to know God for real, as to actually rise up like eagles with that higher vision that sees from above. These eagles of higher vision will not grow weary when so many have been worn down.

In God We Trust must become more real and valuable than a coin.

In God We Trust leads to the greatest change.

Essentially, God gives us these dreams and prophetic visions to pick up nations from the trash. We must come to this center in God that refuses to get pulled into the ditch on either side. God is the missing centerpiece needed to see what we need to see. We are invited to log into God and be connected to something far greater than the media and the internet. 

JFK went on to say:

“It requires a change in outlook, a change in tactics, a change in missions--by the government, by the people, by every businessman or labor leader, and by every newspaper. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.”

What change will you make today?

What can you learn from those who have, and are, sacrificing their heads for the sake of others?

What prophetic vision do you need to protect yourself from infiltration?

Ask God, and trust an answer to come, and it will surely come.

Before the morning comes

This song is powerful for a few reasons. One it’s God’s invitation for us to know He is always with us and desires all to wake up. And people are waking up as they move from woke to awake! This comes from prophetic vision, from the songs and dreams that come to us before we physically awaken each day, and from the prophetic vision shared by those rising early to see it…before the morning comes. 

“I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ‘Turn now everyone from his evil way, “change” your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them; then you will dwell in the land which I have given you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear, nor obeyed Me.”- Jeremiah 35:15

Incline your ear, even if slightly, for the bullets of speech and death may just graze our ear so we know what direction they are actually coming from. Incline your ear, as to rescue this nation from the garbage and the censorship of Truth. Incline your ear, even if slightly, for prophetic vision will replace our heads that have been ripped off by propaganda.

Prophetic vision gives us eagle eyes and the mind of Christ.
