The Cure For Conspiracy Theories and Unhinged Propaganda

Some present examples before the cure.

This week, a Vice President of the United States promoted one of the most dangerous and dehumanizing narratives using propaganda from a specific conspiracy that was denounced over 4 years ago. Kamala Harris used an article from a questionable publication, while standing behind an official seal of the U.S., in order to make an unfounded claim appear substantial. The family who lost a loved one, in which the article's context was used to attack a political opponent with an unverified claim of something he supposedly said, stepped forward saying:

“I don’t appreciate how you are exploiting my sister’s death for politics- hurtful & disrespectful to the important changes she made for service members. President Donald Trump did nothing but show respect to my family & Vanessa. In fact, I voted for President Trump today.” - Mayra Guillen on X (Sister of Vanessa Guillen, who was murdered.)

What is the narrative the Vice President promoted?

Donald Trump is like Hitler.

Have you heard similar rhetoric before? More than five times? This was never a narrative surrounding Trump’s life until after he ran for President. If you look at the trajectory of his life in its entirety, you’d understand the comparison is unhinged from reality. Hitler was a drug addict who killed millions of Jews because of their race. Trump is a businessman and controversial entertainer who doesn’t even drink alcohol, while being one of the most successful presidents in recent history in starting no new wars, while also supporting Jews.

On those two things alone Hitler would not be proud.

When someone becomes unhinged, they are no longer connected to the flexibility by which a door can open or close. Essentially, they are no longer connected to reality and therefore the ability to open the door to truth or close the door to falsehood is not working. Kamala has demonstrated this inability to discern between the truth and falsehood of what someone has said even when the tapes are available for her to listen to. One of the many examples was when she falsely accused Trump during a live debate with him where she said, “Let’s remember Charlottesville, where there was a mob of people…spewing antisemitic hate, and what did the President then at the time say? “There were fine people on each side.”’ She had 7 years to listen to the actual context where he actually did not condone the “very bad people”, especially the “Neo-Nazi’s and the White Nationalists.” Like many other examples of misinformation she has used, one can only deduct that she is either ignorant or she is using a political manipulation tool to make false, or out-of-context stories, appear real.

Kamala continues to reveal her main leadership model is the projection of fear, hate, and bearing false witness towards a political opponent, while displaying a lack of self-awareness of what she herself is doing. She was asked at a town hall the same day she said Trump invoked Hitler, to share one of her weaknesses. Her answer was that she had a perceived weakness that others think about her but that she feels is actually a strength. That is not answering the question. Her continued non-answers and scripted campaign using rehearsed lines is part of her main strategy outside of blame.

I highlight this because we will shortly listen to one of her scripts combining both strategies.

I noticed early on that campaigns saying, in the spirit of Jeremiah 6:14, “Peace, Peace!” or “Joy, Joy!” when much of the country wasn’t feeling this, spread falsehoods and false-hopes to gain power and votes. Understandably, that joy has waned, so moving back to Hitler rhetoric is being used again in one last push before an election day.

“From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit. They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.” - Jeremiah 6:13-14 (NIV)

So the campaign of joy has switched dramatically now that the actual spirit behind the scripted joy attempts are proving false and most people still have no idea who Kamala actually is. She has run on a propaganda and projection campaign where Donald Trump is the scapegoat to be removed or killed in order to solve the country’s problems. She has become visibly angry and heightened in her rhetoric about Trump being unhinged and like Hitler.

Here is one of her scripted rhetoric pieces at her rallies, while oddly talking about someone standing behind the seal of the U.S.

Even if she wins the presidency, never again should she stand behind a seal invoking that Trump is like Hitler. Does she have the freedom to say it? Yes. But this Hitler rhetoric is propaganda designed to make others unhinged too, therefore, people might disconnect themselves from reality, and empathy, in such a way that Trump appears to be an existential threat to their existence. All facts contrary to the claim no longer work for them because not even logic is available once you are unhinged from the door of reason. This incites violence as perceived threats to democracy lead to people who are actually unstable to attempt to assassinate the person indicted by the comments. The real kicker is that the projection and accusation is actually the threat disguised as telling you someone else is the problem without ever looking at yourself.

Speaking of scripted, did you hear how she referred to how the President of the U.S. should use “her” words in a powerful way that does not belittle someone or subject them to harm? Was she planning her scripts to be installed as a presidential candidate without the people’s vote as far back as 2019? Conspiracy?

Possibly, but what people mostly understand here is she has no self-awareness for her own actions or words, as the Hitler remarks prove, as she continues to not hold herself to her own said standards. However, the biggest concern for many of us is her and her party’s desire to control and censor others, especially when they disagree with her or her party’s narratives. This has already been proven by her administration and the media platforms that are censoring and suppressing information, which has led to more harm in the name of looking out for people.

This is actually what dictators do and what totalitarianism does, no matter how professional or concerned they appear in their words, policies, and demeanor.

We are making our way to the cure, but understanding propaganda in some current examples is important. Remember, propaganda tells you certain facts are unfounded, while certain other facts are founded, in order to sow doubt or false certainty into reality. It is designed to overwhelm you with consistent narratives to deceive you or cause you to give up trying to learn the truth. You will often know you are under the influence of propaganda when you are dehumanizing or hating someone, becoming indifferent towards people or important issues, or being afraid to speak up for fear of being misunderstood.

It’s always interesting when “unfounded conspiracies” come true.

We are seeing the the words of Orwell fulfilled:

“The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” (1984)

But this is only one of the many points available to help you understand how propaganda and conspiracy theories have worked for or against people over the last decade. The cure for propaganda allows us to better understand which conspiracy theories are true or false, but better still, what we should base our entire life on that does not fluctuate when world powers collide or collude.

The Cure For Propaganda and Conspiracy Theories

This Wisdom text gives the cure:

“For this is what the LORD told me strongly, instructing me not to walk in the way of these people: “Do not call conspiracy everything these people regard as conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not live in dread. The LORD of Hosts is the One you shall regard as holy. Only He should be feared..” - Isaiah 8:11-13

(This is not talking about an unhealthy fear of God, as perfect Love, aka God, casts out that kind of fear)

Some people will be offended and stumble over Truth, until they stop being ensnared by stories created in the attempt to control people’s lives and perception of reality. Humbling ourselves and internally regarding God as the main foundation of our life opens us to a process where we begin to grow in discernment between good and evil that you can’t get any other way. Logic and Common Sense are fine, as far as they go, but they often don’t go far enough. This is why some people in the midst of the current political season do not know where to turn to. They finally realize they’ve been manipulated and lied to, but can they really trust what the other side is doing?

That will be for your own journey to decide but the ultimate answer is God is the only One who allows us to understand the dimensionality and depth of life in a way that understands the truth behind what people call conspiracies and whether they are true or not, or even worth the attempt to find out. When we become hinged to God, we are connected to the largest Source in the universe where correct sourcing of information can be known. We learn the difference between the script of God and the scripting of people, like politicians or corrupt power brokers, who simply want to control people for one reason or another. We then become capable of not calling a conspiracy one when it isn’t.

Said a bit differently.

We get wisdom and understanding by only regarding God as that which we should hold in highest respect. This keeps us hinged to Reality as we are strongly urged to not walk in the way of people who promote false reality through conspiracy, especially if they show no actual respect for God. If God is your foundation, even if you become trapped in a falsehood, it will not last long. Ultimately, when we are hinged to God we are connected to the Door by which we go in and out to find pasture and rest for our souls, regardless of what is happening in the world and regardless of who gets elected.

This is the most important thing and will be the most important thing in the coming years. So do not fear what they fear. Do not call conspiracy what you know isn’t. Let God be the only One you regard as Holy, and the Light will guide you home.
